Dinner Suit - Black Tie Function/Party?
Would it be incorrect to wear a Waist Coat and Cummerbund with a Dinner Suit? Is it also proper to wear Medals on a dinner jacket whilst attending a civillian black tie function and a Pocket Watch with chain attached to the waist coat?
a. cummerbunds (the preferred option in the UK) OR waistcoats
b. medals - military or civilian awards? no military medals unless it is a military function and then they would be dress medals (the minature ones).
c. you could wear a watch and chain but, as I say, a cummerbund is the "norm" in the UK.

Look for interesting colors and prints that are bold and vibrant. Are you an outdoorsy couple? Look for earthier tones and linen papers that are organic and natural. Do you consider yourself a more traditional and laid back couple? Check out more traditional invitations such as glossed white with silver scroll writing or gold embossed invitations. If you consider yourself a worldly, traveling couple, look for invitations that represent your passion – vibrant colors mixed with sand beige can create a tropical look to your invitations.
