Large Rolling

What is the safest, and most economical, way to mail a large piece of artwork?
I have a large acrylic painting about 5' by 6' or so. I've already taken the canvas off the frame, and now need to mail it. I'd like to do so without folding it, only rolling it, but the largest heavy duty mailing tube i've found is only 43" long. Please help! (also, if you know of a great staple remover that works for taking the staples off of the frame, I'd appreciate that advice too--- screwdriver and pliers hurts my hands after a while
)
you can buy a pvc pipe and ask to cut it in the store to the desirable length. It is strong, durable and will protect your painting.
tip: when rolling your painting, keep the painted side out, to avoid breaking the paint surface.
about removing the staples - yeah, it hurts - i know...
